TRI-CITIES, Wash.- Six Girl Scouts are passionate about making a change in the Tri-Cities community. Kendra Caton is a Kennewick Girl Scout troop leader and says her troop saw a need of how many dogs are in need of a home in the Tri-Cities.
The girls decided to partner with Mikey’s Chance Canine Rescue to encourage people to foster and adopt dogs. Together, the troop designed a calendar featuring dogs that are currently up for adoption using their own artwork. All proceeds from those calendars are going right back to Mikey’s Chance.
After designing the calendar themselves, the girls worked with Minuteman Press in Richland to help get the calendar printed. You can buy the calendar here
