KENNEWICK, Wash. – The 72-year-old man who robbed the Chase Bank in Kennewick on June 13 was found guilty and sentenced to nearly 11 years in prison on Tue., July 2.
Court documents say Keith Foster will spend 10 years and nine months in prison and 18 months in community custody for first-degree robbery. He was also required to pay $1,419.46 in restitution to the bank.
On June 13, Kennewick Police responded to the Chase Bank on Vista Way and North Conway Street for reports of a man, later revealed to be Foster, wearing a mask and demanding money from a teller.
KPD says the teller gave Foster the money before he ran away.
Police spent about four hours searching for Foster before finding him on the 3300 block of West Ninth Avenue where he was arrested and booked into the Benton County Jail.
KPD returned the stolen U.S. currency to Chase Bank on Wed., July 10.
