FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash.-A juvenile vehicle prowl suspect is in custody and several stolen items were recovered early on the morning of Dec. 20.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to reports of a suspected vehicle prowl in progress in the area of the Kohler addition off of Burns Road around 4 a.m.
According to the FCSO, Deputies located two suspect vehicles in the area, one of which had been reported stolen the day before and took the juvenile in the stolen car into custody.
The second car, a gold Honda Odyssey was driven away from the scene, however, the van’s engine failed in the area of Crooked River Court after a short chase.
The juvenile suspects in the van got away, however, a large amount of stolen property was found in the two cars, including one gun, according to the FCSO.
The FCSO is now asking anyone who lives near the Kohler addition and believes they may have been a theft victim to contact the Sheriff’s Department at 509-545-3501.
