YAKIMA, Wash. – A child was shot in Yakima Monday evening, according to the Yakima Police Department.
YPD says at around 7:10 p.m., several reports came in of gunshots in the area of 2200 W. Nob Hill Blvd. Officers found a juvenile with a gunshot wound, who was brought to Yakima Valley MultiCare with life-threatening injuries.
The alleged shooter was found in the area by police, according to YPD.
An investigation is ongoing and witnesses are asked to call 509-575-6200 and contact the YPD Major Crimes Unit.
