PASCO, Wash. – One person was hospitalized after a shooting on Chapel Hill Boulevard on Aug. 12, culminating in a juvenile being arrested two days later.
Pasco Police responded to the area of Chapel Hill Boulevard and Broadmoor Boulevard around 7:13 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived they found a juvenile male who had been shot in the torso.
According to PPD, the victim was conscious and alert after the shooting and was brought to the hospital for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries at this time.
Through an investigation, police determined that both the victim and the shooter were members of rival gangs.
On Aug. 14, after several search warrants across the Tri-Cities, the alleged shooter was found in an apartment complex in Richland where they were taken into custody without issue.
PPD had help from the Richland SCU, Benton County Gang Unit, the Kennewick CAT team and the Tri-City METRO Unit during the arrest.
