CONNELL, Wash. – Lamb Weston’s potato processing plant in Connell permanently closed on Oct. 1, putting 375 employees out of work.
Now the Benton Franklin County Workforce Development Council will host a Lamb Weston Connell Facility Closure Job Fair at Columbia Basin College on Oct. 21.
The job fair scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon in the CTE building at CBC is specially created to support laid off workers during their transitional period.
According to the WDC, employers will be available at the job fair to meet with job seekers.
CBC is located at 2600 N. 20th Ave. in Pasco.
