KENNEWICK, Wash. – The annual Jehovah’s Witnesses convention has returned to the Toyota Center in the Tri-Cities with the final two of its four-convention series.
The first of the two is running from Aug. 23 to 25 and the second comes during the following weekend, Aug. 30 to Sept. 1. The free events bring over 13,000 attendees across all four weekends.
“These conventions are a highlight of the year for thousands of people who want to experience some positivity in their lives, and we are happy to enjoy the program once again in this welcoming and hospitable city,” said local spokesperson Nate Gibb.
2024’s theme is “Declare the Good News!” and features Bible-based videos, discourses and interviews based on topics ranging from why good news is necessary, how to use good news to defeat bad news and why we don’t fear bad news.
The series of conventions is past of over 6,000 three-day conventions worldwide, which almost 13 million people attended in 2023.
