SUNNYSIDE, Wash.-A stretch of Swan Road will be closed for an irrigation pipe project in Sunnyside Aug. 12-13.
The closure from Yakima Valley Highway to W. Edison Ave is expected to last from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. both days and is necessary as the Sunnyside Valley Irrigation District works on a piping project.
Local traffic will be allowed in the area and the roadway should be reopened each night for evening traffic, according to the city.
