Thursday October, 19 is International Credit Union Day.
Michael Novakovich, CEO at Columbia Industries, says this is a day where our areas largest credit unions come together.
“We are talking about Hapo, Gesa, Numerica, TCU and STCU to support local agencies through local volunteerism,” says Novakovich.
October 19, Columbia Industries will have a drop off site at their main campus in downtown Kennewick accepting essential items for donation.
“We are putting together three different types of kits,” says Novakovich. “Men’s and women’s hygiene kits winter preparedness kits.”
Also happening October 19 is Columbia Industries Employment Rally. Novakovich says this rally is all about creating accessibility to employment for individuals with disabilities.
“People who show up can expect to hear from individuals with disabilities, the impacts of those jobs and the positive impacts it has for employers,” says Novakovich.
