OLYMPIA – On Friday, March 13, Governor Jay Inslee made a sweeping announcement that he would be mandating the closure of all K-12 schools statewide.
The closures will go into effect by Tuesday, March 17 and schools will remain closed through at least Friday, April 24.
Inslee also expanded his mandate for events of 250 people or more to be canceled or postponed to include events statewide.
