KENNEWICK, Wash.-The City of Kennewick has announced Kason’s Korner, an area of inclusive elements added to the Toyota Playground of Dreams in Columbia Park.
Kason’s Korner, named after Kason Creed a local advocate for inclusive playground equipment throughout the Tri-Cities, will feature a We-Go-Round, We-saw, and Sensory Play Center, as well as play grass around the area for better mobility.
A ribbon-cutting for Kason’s Korner is scheduled for n Tuesday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the South East area of the Toyota of Tri-Cities Playground of Dreams in Columbia Park, with Kason and his family officially opening the playground.
According to the City of Kennewick, the new amenities will make it easier for everyone in our community to play and engage in the same space. Kennewick Parks and Recreation believes in recreational opportunities for all abilities and ages, furthering a sense of community.
