PASCO, Wash.-The inaugural Pasco Urban Revival Days, an initiative from the City’s Inspection Services, are scheduled for Saturday, June 8.

PUR-D, an initiative to foster community pride and connections through neighborhood clean-up events, is funded by a grant from the Community Development Block Grant Program awarded in 2023, according to the City of Pasco.

The event will start in the Terrace Heights neighborhood, which includes Kurtzman Park.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to come together, make a positive impact in their community, and connect with valuable resources,” said Troy Hendren, Inspection Services Manager.

Urban Revival Days will start with a neighborhood clean-up from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a resource fair from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Volunteers will gather at Kurtzman Park to pick up litter, debris, and other environmental hazards, fostering a cleaner, greener environment for all, according to the City of Pasco Inspection Services.

Various resource groups will be available at the fair for participants to learn about services and explore opportunities for community involvement.

“Community participation is vital in making this event a success and creating lasting change throughout Pasco,” said Hendren.
