PROSSER, Wash. – According to the City of Prosser, the Washington State Department of Transportation will start its scheduled bridge rehabilitation work on I-82 on Wednesday, reducing traffic to single lanes in both directions in Prosser.

The work will take place between Exit 80 and 82 on the bridge over the Yakima River from March 20 at 9 p.m. until October 2024, according to WSDOT.

City of Prosser entered a Local Agency Haul Road Agreement with WSDOT to use Wine Country Road as a detour for any drivers not wanting to stay on I-82 through the construction.
