YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -UPDATED JULY 3. 9:53 a.m. All evacuations for the Hillman Road Fire have now been removed.
According to Yakima Valley Emergency Management, the evacuations, which had been reduced from level 3 to level 1 on the night of July 1 when the fire was brought under control, were removed around 9:50 a.m. on July 3.
UPDATED 9:34 p.m. According to West Valley Fire Department Chief Nathan Craig, the Hillman Road Fire is now under control.
Evacuation levels have been lowered from level 3 (GO NOW) to level 1 (BE READY). Craig says the fire burned 150 acres.
Crews from the WVFD and the Bureau of Land Management will be staying out overnight to prevent hot spots.
As a result of the fire, two homes and one shop have been destroyed. According to WVFD, the fire was caused by a tractor mowing with a brush hog.
Residents affected by evacuations caused by the wildfire burning in the area of Hillman Road and Marble Road can find assistance at the evacuation center at Summit View Church of Christ.
The American Red Cross announced they would have food, cots and other urgent needs for anyone evacuated due to the fire burning on Hillman Road in West Valley.
The shelter opened at 6:30 p.m. at the Summit View Church of Christ at 100 N 72nd Ave, Yakima, WA 98908.

According to Pacific Power, 144 residents are without power in the Yakima area with 76 in the direct area of the fire. The cause for the outages near the fire is an emergency de-energization.
