TOPPENISH, Wash.-Heritage University has made two “Best Colleges” lists.
Heritage comes in at number five on the college ranking and review website Niche.com’s “Best Private Colleges in Washington” list.
U.S. News and World Report ranks Heritage number 50 on its “Best Regional Universities-West” list.
“We believe the rankings reflect the investments we have made into our programs and the experiences our students receive as a result of them,” said David Wise, Vice President of Advancement and Marketing & Communications.
According to Niche, Heritage made the list due, in part to its smaller size, esteemed reputation, and flexible programs that include more direct instruction and support for students.
“They get more one-on-one time with their professors, individual tutoring and advising, as well as other opportunities that students who choose a larger university will never experience,” said Melissa Hill, Ph.D, Heritage University Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs.
The U.S. News and World Report rankings were based on academic indicators, including graduation rates, assessment and faculty resources.
