RICHLAND, Wash.-HAPO Community Credit Union has received a Juntos Avanzamos Designation.
HAPO announced the designation that emphasizes a commitment to inclusivity and community engagement in the financial sector on October 30.
“We take a lot of pride in earning the Juntos Avanzamos designation and believe their purpose seamlessly aligns with out mission and core values,” said HAPO President and CEO, Delores Broeske.
According to HAPO, the designation is part of its overall mission of providing access to financial services and education to diverse population.
Juntos Avanzamos is a nationwide network of organizations that provide affordable and equitable financial services to Hispanic and immigrant communities.
According to a press release on HAPO’s designation, Juntos Avanzamos serves all members of the community through the promotion of financial literacy, expanding access to credit and improving opportunities for all.
“This designation allows us to further enhance our outreach efforts and tailor products and services to better serve the Hispanic and immigrant communities, as well as others living in underserved areas,” Broeske said.
