RICHLAND, Wash.–The Hanford Guard Unions is meeting with the Hanford Mission Integration Solutions on Monday to discuss a counter proposal regarding a recent lockout.
Hanford Guards is asking for the community’s support during the lockout set by HMIS because guard members focus on assisting local authorities, asset protection and other responsibilities, according to a press release. The lockout denies Hanford Guards the ability to fulfill those responsibilities.
Hanford Guard Union will present a counter proposal Monday and hopes for a response that will lead to an agreement, rather than a rejection similar to five other proposals they have brought to HMIS, the press release says.
