KENNEWICK, Wash. – Halloween is here and with Trunk or Treat, families looking for a fun and safe way to celebrate have plenty of options outside their neighborhoods.
In Richland, New Vintage Church is hosting what they claim is the largest trunk or treat event in the Tri-Cities. The celebration runs from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. and features bounce houses, free food, contests, and numerous decorated trunks.
Pasco’s Prestige Motors is also joining the festivities with a trunk or treat from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a DJ, a bouncy house, free raffles, and a mechanical bull.
Over in Kennewick, Tri City Tire LLC and Columbia Gardens Wine and Artisan Village are hosting their first-ever trunk or treat from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will include live music, food vendors, games, a car show, and a free photo booth.
For those outside the Tri-Cities, Benton City offers downtown trick or treating on Main Street from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the street closed for safe family fun.
Prosser is hosting a downtown trick or treat from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sixth Street and Mead Avenue. Participating businesses will have marked signs and will be open with candy and a chance to explore their locations.
Lastly, Wheatland Village is providing an indoor trick or treating event starting at 3:45 p.m. This is a great option for those looking to stay dry, as rain is expected. Wheatland staff and residents will be handing out candy in a safe indoor environment.
