Greater Idaho movement seeks Trump’s help to change ID-OR border

OREGON-IDAHO BORDER – The Greater Idaho movement is reaching out to President-elect Donald Trump for assistance in their efforts to change the Idaho-Oregon border.

The movement’s organizers have sent a letter to Trump, asking for his help in finding a peaceful resolution to the process. They argue that residents in eastern Oregon disagree with the current state policies and wish to become part of Idaho.

The movement highlights that many individuals in eastern Oregon hold conservative views. So far, 13 counties have passed measures supporting the border change.

For the change to occur, approval is needed from both states’ legislatures and the U.S. Congress.
