OLYMPIA, Wash.-Governor Jay Inslee has signed an extradition warrant to send a West Richland woman to Florida to face murder charges in the killing of her ex-husband.
The extradition papers, signed by Governor Inslee on September 26, will send Shanna Lee Gardner to Florida, where she has been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, solicitation to commit a felony and child abuse.
According to the extradition warrant, Gardner will be returned to Jackson County in Florida.
Gardner was arrested on August 17 in West Richland and is accused of having her husband killed in a murder-for-hire plot in 2022.
