WEST RICHLAND, Wash. – The City of West Richland is revamping its garbage collection schedule effective Dec. 11 to serve customers better.
Garbage trucks will now collect trash based on an updated garbage map. Ed’s Disposal will also tag trash cans the week before the change to remind residents of the schedule change.
According to the new map:
If your service day is moving from Wednesday to Monday:Last Wednesday pick up: Dec. 6First Monday pick up: Dec. 11If your service day is moving from Wednesday to Friday:Last Wednesday pick up: Dec. 13First Friday pick up: Dec. 15If your service day is moving from Tuesday to Thursday:Last Tuesday pick up: Dec. 12First Thursday pick up: Dec. 14If your service day is moving from Thursday to WednesdayLast Thursday pick up: Dec. 7First Wednesday pick up: Dec. 13
The City of West Richland reminds customers to have their carts out by 6 a.m. as garbage truck drivers may arrive at a different time than usual.
