YAKIMA, Wash.-The 21st Annual Fresh Hop Ale Festival is Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Sozo Sports Complex.
The Fresh Hop Ale Festival is a nonprofit with the goal of hosting one of the nation’s top beer festivals while celebrating Yakima Valley Hops and supporting arts and sciences organizations in Yakima County, according to its website.
The festival is expected to go on, regardless of the weather, with gates opening at 4 p.m. for attendees with VIP tickets and 5 p.m. for general admission.
Live music will start at 5:30 p.m. and the best professional and home brews will be awarded Fresh Hop Ale Festival Cornhole boards.
Food vendors, including Kim’s Got Smoke, Uncle Sam’s Kettle Corn, Home Thai Food, Bella Sonia’s Tacos, Polynesian Grill, Blissful Bites Donuts, Nano’s Tacos, Lind’s Concessions and Aventura Coffee will be available.
Parking is $10 per car or you can take a free shuttle with scheduled pickups from various locations from 3-6:30 p.m.

Return shuttles will begin leaving at 7:00 p.m. and will run until all attendees have left the festival.
