RICHLAND, Wash.-September is National Suicide Awareness Month and Kadlec is hosting a firearm lockbox giveaway event at Ranch and Home on Saturday, Sept. 28.
Kadlec is partnering with the Benton-Franklin Health District and the Youth Access and Resource Program for the giveaway to promote safe gun storage as part of suicide prevention.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. people over age 21 can get a free lockbox at Ranch and Home in Kennewick while supplies last.
