TOPPENISH, Wash.-A free dental clinic and health screening will be held at the Yakama Nation Community Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 23-25.
All community members are welcome at the clinic that will include fillings, extractions and teeth cleanings, as well as pediatric dentistry, free haircuts and a shower van, according to a Yakama Nation social media post.
Áwtni Shix̱witpamá will also have 10 staff members onsite each day with therapists available for therapy/counseling intakes and domestic violence program staff will be available to help enroll people in the Victims Resources Program.
