YAKIMA, Wash.-A free community financial aid event is scheduled for Thursday, May 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the ESD 105 Maggie Perez Center.
The College Success Foundation, ESD 105 and Southcentral STEM Network are hosting the event to provide students and families the support with financial aid.
With the recent changes to FAFSA and the delays in the process, families are encouraged to attend the event for dinner and to meet with a coach to help them complete the financial aid application, according to a College Success Foundation press release.
College representatives will also be present at the event that will also include a graduation photo booth and prizes.
Support will be available in both English and Spanish. The Maggie Perez Center is located at 111 S. 2nd Avenue.
