PASCO, Wash.-Free car seat inspections will be available at Pasco Fire Station #84 on Saturday, March. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
No appointments are necessary for the free car seat checks performed by Safe Kids Benton-Franklin. Technicians will be available to provide hands-on training for families and caregivers concerning proper car seat installation.
According to the Benton Franklin Health District, the seat inspections will be an opportunity to learn about Washington’s Child Restraint Law, discover the correct seat for your child’s age and size and reduce the risk of death or serious injury in a crash.
“Assuring a proper, safe, and legal install is the only way to protect your child in vehicles during a collision,” said Daphne Gallegos-Klinefelter, Public Health Educator with Benton-Franklin Health District.
Pasco Fire Station 84 is located at 4920 W. Court St.
