FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. — A four-car crashed blocked Taylor Flats Road south of Elm Road early Tuesday morning.
In a Facebook post, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office advised the public to avoid the area.
Freezing fog can make the roads slick and reduce visibility for early morning commuters. The Washington Department of Transportation said drivers should be sure to drive for the conditions.
That means slow down when approaching intersections, off ramps, bridges, or shady spots. Use your headlights and do not use cruise control. Leave extra room between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you. And remember, the larger the vehicle, the longer the stopping distance.
