YAKIMA, Wash.-Yakima Police arrested a former officer on suspicion of domestic violence charges on March 18.
Yakima PD responded to a possible domestic violence incident around 5:53 p.m. in the area of 74th Avenue and Summitview Avenue.
According to a YPD social media post, responding officers were advised that a gun may have been used in the incident and a 53-year-old former officer was arrested at the scene.
The suspect reportedly left the YPD in 2022. Yakima Police are still actively investigating the case.
