SPOKANE, Wash. – Richard Aguirre, the former Pasco police officer who was found guilty of murder in Dec. 2023, is set to receive his sentence on Monday.
Doss was killed in 1986, but Aguirre was not charged until DNA evidence established a connection between the Pasco officer and Doss in 2020.
Aguirre was found guilty for 1st degree murder on Dec. 26, 2023. He faces 20 to 27 years in prison depending upon the decision of a Spokane County Superior Court judge.
