FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash.-Fiver people were injured in a two-car crash near Basin City on the afternoon of Tuesday, Jan. 23.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the car versus pickup crash at the intersection of Russell Rd. and Glade North Rd. around 3:45 p.m.
The preliminary investigation by the FCSO found that the driver of the car did not stop at the intersection and was hit by a pickup truck driven by a 49-year-old Basin City man.
The truck reportedly hit the car on its driver’s side before rolling and coming to a rest against a power pole.
Witnesses at the scene reported to FCSO Deputies that the passengers in the back of the car were ejected in the crash.
All five people involved in the crash were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, according to the FCSO.
