TRI-CITIES, Wash.-Much of the region is under a winter weather advisory as the first of two storms brings snow to the area.
One to four inches of snow are expected around the area, before turning to a snow, sleet and freezing rain mix on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Several schools are currently delayed due to the weather conditions and I-90 is closed in both directions after several spinouts. Drivers are encouraged to slow down for the conditions and build extra time into their commutes.
The second winter storm is expected to hit Thursday morning through Friday, with another 1-4″ of snow possible.
