
Benton County, Wash.- On Saturday morning, a mobile home in Finley area was completely destroyed by a fire.
According to Benton County Fire District 1, they began working on the house around 9 a.m. on Saturday. When they arrived, the owner was trying to contain the fire with an extinguisher and garden hose. By 9:37 a.m., the house ruled a total loss by firefighters.
Firefighters report that no one was in the house when the fire started. The residents were in a nearby field before the property owner returned to put out the fire. The family pet has not been found.
The fire is contained and firefighters are still on the scene.
