KENNEWICK, Wash. – Crews from the Kennewick Fire Department put out a wildfire near Twin City Metals in Kennewick on Tuesday.
KFD Chief Chad Michael says crews extinguished the fire at 455 E. Bruneau Ave. about 15 to 20 minutes following the first report at 7:26 p.m.
The fire burned along train tracks and crews communicated with train traffic control to ensure no trains were on their way to the fire’s location.
No one was injured in the fire and no buildings were damaged. The cause is currently undetermined.
