KENNEWICK, Wash.- If you are looking for something to do this holiday season this list of holiday-lighted parades is a great place to start.
The City of Yakima will host its 23rd annual Holiday Lighted Parade on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. The parade will begin at 6th Avenue and continue down Yakima Avenue to 3rd Street in front of the Capitol Theater.
The 9th annual Hermiston Tree Lighting and Lighted Parade will be Nov. 30. The lighted parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the tree lighting with Santa will be at 6:15 p.m. at the Hermiston Festival Street in Downtown Hermiston.
The 10th annual Sunnyside Kids lighted Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony will be on Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. Registration is required. You can pre-register here or register in person at the event. The event will be at the Centennial Square in Downtown Sunnyside.
The Downtown Kennewick Hometown Holiday Parade will be on Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The parade will welcome Santa to Kennewick and feature holiday-themed floats first responders and entertaining characters. The Parade will begin at 10 a.m. After the Parade you can join Santa at Santa Square for activities treats and pictures.
The Walla Walla Holiday parade of lights will kick off the holiday season on Dec. 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The parade will begin at 4th and Alder Street and head east to Spokane Street then end on Main and 6th Street.
The Benton City Winterfest Lighted Parade will be on Dec. 9 at 5 p.m. The parade will begin at Ki-Be Middle School and end at the corner of Babs Avenue and 9th Street. After the parade, you can go to City Park for the annual tree lighting and caroling.
