FBI investigating deadly shooting on Yakama Reservation, suspect vehicle found

In an update from FBI Seattle, the suspect’s vehicle has been recovered.

The FBI has no other official updates at this time.

UPDATE Dec. 5

Yakima County Deputy Coroner Marshall Slight released the identity of the 42-year-old man that was shot and killed on Tuesday outside his home.

Slight identified Calvin George Jr. as the victim. His cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest.

According to FBI Seattle Public Affairs Specialist Amy Alexander, there are no updates to the investigation.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Seattle Field Office is seeking information for an investigation into a murder on the Yakama Reservation on Monday.

On Dec. 2 at around 6:19 p.m., a suspect allegedly shot and killed a 42-year-old man outside his home in Wapato. No other injuries were reported.

The FBI and the Yakama Nation Police Department is asking the public for information regarding a vehicle seen on surveillance video in the area of the murder.

The vehicle is described as a 2008 maroon Toyota Scion xB or xD with Washington temporary tag A7766868. It may be abandoned and should not be approached.
