Providence Medicare Advantage Plans, a non-profit health plan supporting the well-being of older adults in the Tri-Cities, is partnering with Meals on Wheels for the first time to help ensure local seniors have access to nutritious food. The two organizations will host Senior Night at the Dust Devils game at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (6/19) to raise awareness of food insecurity and offer information on resources.
Dust Devils Senior Night honors seniors in the community, celebrates their achievements, and recognizes the importance of supporting their health with access to nutritious meals, high-quality healthcare, and community support.
Meals on Wheels will be distributing re-useable tote bags for the first 250 attendees at the ballpark’s entrance gate. Dave Sanford, President of Senior Life Resources Board of Directors, will be attending and throwing out the first pitch of the game.
