SUNNYSIDE, Wash. – The City of Sunnyside announced its new weekly Music in the Park event where local artists will be featured in Centennial Square every Wednesday over the summer.
The event is presented by Interim City Manager and Police Chief Rob Layman and the Economic Development Department, A different local artist will be featured each week with diverse genres.
Acoustic country, light rock, mariachi and modern alternative are some of the genres currently lined up.
Local downtown shops will also be around to serve attendees while the Recreation Division will provide yard games and toys for families.
The event kicks off on May 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Each following Music in the Park event has the same hours.
