BENTON COUNTY, Wash.-Orders can now be placed for “A Meal to Remember,” a fundraiser for Heartlinks Hospice and Palliative Care.
Meals may be ordered online by March. 8. for pickup on March. 14.
According to Heartlinks, the organization serves over 600 patients and their families in Benton and Yakima Counties each year. “A Meal to Remember” is an annual fundraiser for Heartlinks, which provides hospice and palliative care without ever billing patients.
Heartlinks is partnering with Castle Event Catering, 13 Bones Urban BBQ, and Jade’s British Girl Treats on the meals that can be purchased and enjoyed or gifted and delivered directly to patient’s homes, according to a Heartlinks press release on the annual event.

Amazing Chicken and Rice Casserole: Tender chicken, vegetables and jasmine rice baked together (serves 4).13 Bones BBQ Casserole: Creamy gouda macaroni and cheese topped with apple and cherrywood smoked pulled pork, cornbread topping and coleslaw (serves 4).
Dessert:
Caramel apple fudgy brownie (serves 6).Apple pecan bread pudding (serves 6).
