NACHES, Wash. – A driver traveling eastbound on SR 410 was transported to the hospital after crashing into a tree in the morning of Oct. 19.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, the 22-year-old driver from Yakima failed to drive around a curve near Cliffdell and crashed after leaving the roadway around 1:42 a.m.
The driver was transported to Yakima Memorial Hospital. According to WSP, drugs or alcohol are a factor in this incident.
Charges are pending for felony DUI and driving with a suspended license in the third degree.
