KENNEWICK, Wash. – A wrong way driver under the influence caused a crash at the intersection of West Clearwater Avenue and North Union Street which blocked the roadway temporarily, according to KPD Officer Joe Pursley.
Pursley says crews were sent to the intersection at 7:50 p.m. to find a crash involving three vehicles.
The driver under the influence was reportedly driving the wrong direction. Pursley says that driver is now in custody and was the only one injured in the crash.
All three vehicles involved in the crash were towed according to Pursley.
