MOXEE, Wash. – A 16-year-old is being charged with a stop sign violation after causing a three-car collision on SR 24 and Bell Road in Moxee on Tuesday.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, the 16-year-old was driving westbound on Bell Road around 5:37 p.m. towards SR 24 where he reportedly did not stop at a stop sign and hit two cars driving along SR 24.
A 29-year-old from Union Gap was injured in the crash and transported to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital according to the memo. The third driver was unharmed.
All three cars involved in the crash were totaled. WSP says drugs and alcohol were not involved.
