YAKIMA, Wash. – The United Way of Central Washington is holding its first ever Dolly Day 5k, a family-friendly 5k fun run where participants can dress up as country singer Dolly Parton.
The run raises funds for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a program that donates books to young children.
The run takes place on Oct. 12 at the Yakima Greenway. Check-in starts at 9 a.m. while the run starts at 10 a.m.
