YAKIMA, Wash. – The Davis High School Art Department announced its ninth annual Davis Art Show featuring the artwork of its students, including the work of two OSPI State Winners.
A special opening reception for the art show takes place on Tue., May 21 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the KIVA. Staff, students, families and the community are all invited.
Following the reception, the art show will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. until May 30. Community visits and class tours are allowed and teachers at DHS can bring students in for interactive lessons.
“We are thrilled to support our talented student artists,” said art teacher Carole Huls. “The annual art show is a fantastic opportunity for the community to see the creative efforts and perseverance of our students. Their work is truly inspiring.”
