YAKIMA, Wash.-The Davis High School E-Sports team recently competed in the State Championship and is bringing a third place trophy home to Yakima.
Led by math teacher Garry Carpenter, Davis finished second at Regionals and then outplayed other higher-ranked teams on their way to the Semifinals, according to a social media post from the school.
In a close contest against Nooksack Valley the Davis gamers prevailed to finish third in the entire state.
