Who Is in Daredevil: Born Again?
Charlie Cox is back as the titular character, who has popped up in Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and most recently Echo. He originated the role in Netflix‘s former Daredevil series, which is now exclusively on Disney+. Joining Cox is Vincent D’Onofrio as big bad Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as vigilante Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher. Fans got a tease of a potential team-up between Daredevil and the Punisher in newly-released behind-the-scenes images.
Also returning are Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson as well as Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter. Meanwhile, other previously announced costars include Margarita Levieva and Michael Gandolfini.
It was recently revealed through behind-the-scenes photos, that Ayelet Zurer, who played Vanessa Fisk in the original Daredevil was on set in character, seemingly reprising her role. She was filming alongside her onscreen husband, D’Onofrio. And Bernthal offered a closer glimpse at the crew behind the scenes with an Instagram photo of himself, Woll, and Cox. Woll commented, “Just hanging out. .”

What Is Daredevil: Born Again About?
There is no official logline or description for Daredevil: Born Again‘s plot, but there have been hints at where the story may pick up as an end credit sequence from Echo teased Wilson Fisk’s desire to run for Mayor. This is a plot plucked from the pages of Marvel’s comic books from a run in which Fisk does serve as Mayor of New York City, putting him in direct opposition with Daredevil. Stay tuned for more on the show’s official plot as production continues to take shape.
Is Daredevil: Born Again Continuing the Story from Marvel’s Daredevil?
When TV Insider caught up with D’Onofrio and Cox at Disney Upfronts in May 2024, they hinted that Daredevil: Born Again will be a continuation of the characters introduced in Netflix’s former iteration. Cox confirmed there is “a lot” of crossover with the former series, with D’Onofrio noting, “It originally wasn’t going to be at all, but now it’s a lot.” This is further supported by the roster of stars set to reprise their roles for the street-level hero’s journey.
Does Daredevil: Born Again Have a Trailer?
As we await the official premiere date and trailer, fans at Disney’s D23 got a closer look at the action with a sneak peek at the upcoming series, and another tease was shown at New York Comic Con, but no official footage has been released publicly at this time.
