TOPPENISH, Wash. – Two cars collided at the intersection of Fort Road and Becker Road near Toppenish on Wednesday, according to Yakima County Sheriff’s Office PIO Casey Schliperoort.
Schliperoort reports that the crash happened at 6:15 p.m. Two of the four occupants in the crash were injured, however only one was brought to a nearby hospital.
The intersection was blocked as a result of the crash but was reopened at 7:05 p.m.
YCSO and Yakama Tribal Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
