Crash in Union Gap hospitalizes motorcyclist

UNION GAP, Wash. – A crash in Union Gap sent a motorcyclist to the hospital on Friday, according to the Union Gap Police Department.

UGPD says the crash, which involved the motorcycle and another car, happened at around 1:11 p.m. on the 2000 block of South 16th Avenue. The road was closed for about an hour for crews to clear the crash, according to UGPD Sergeant Curtis Santucci.

Santucci says neither driver was under the influence and both sustained non-life threatening injuries. No charges or arrests have been made.

UGPD reminds drivers to be mindful of motorcyclists on the road. An investigation is being done by UGPD.
