BURBANK, Wash.-Two suspects in a deadly shooting in Burbank in 2010 are now back in Walla Walla County awaiting trial.
The arrests stem from the September 10, 2010 shooting death of Jose Ramon Hernandez-Solis.
According to the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect or suspects in the shooting were unknown at the time and were believed to have fled the state after the murder.
Evidence, including DNA, was recovered at the scene of the shooting and in February of 2022, a DNA match identified a 31-year-old suspect.
An arrest warrant for 1st Degree Murder was obtained for the suspect and one for 1st degree rendering criminal assistance was obtained for his wife.
According to the WWCSO, the suspects were arrested in California in August and September of 2023 and are now in custody in Walla Walla County.
