Costco is raising its starting wages for store workers to $15 an hour.
It’s also increasing pay for supervisors and has started offering paid parental leave for hourly employees.
The announcement comes as the retail sector faces an increasingly tight labor market.
Many retailers have resorted to offering better wages and perks in an effort to attract talent.
Earlier this month, Target announced it plans to raise its starting wage to $15 an hour by 2020.
