BENTON COUNTY, Wash.-The cause of death of Gage Mercado, the 18-year-old who went missing in Horn Rapids Park on Dec. 30 is now known.
According to Benton County Coroner William Leach, Mercado’s autopsy has been completed and the official cause of death was drowning.
